The Society for Landscape Studies’ 2024 Conference, that was held on Saturday 28th and Sunday 29th September in Canterbury, has been deemed a great success. Held at St Paul’s Church in Canterbury (CT1 1NH), it was a collaboration involving the Centre for Kent History and Heritage based at Canterbury Christ Church University and ourselves. We take this opportunity to thank Dr Sheila Sweetinburgh for leading the overall organisation, the staff at St Paul’s Church for the Saturday conference day, to Keith Parfitt for leading the Sunday field visits to the Western Heights in Dover and to Nonington, and to Peter Hobbs for hosting us at Nonington. We are also most grateful to the speakers.
