Saturday May 10: Based in Nailsworth; led by Ian Mackintosh. A whole day looking at the Stroudwater Textile Industry. Meet Egypt Mill 9.45a.m.

 

Sunday May 11: Medieval Rural Landscapes with David Aldred and Chris Dyer.

           Hailes Abbey—abbey site and surrounding landscape.

           Winchcombe—a medieval borough and its abbey.

           Hazleton—a shrunken medieval village and a north Gloucestershire rural landscape.

Meet Hailes Abbey 9.30a.m.

 

Stops will be made on both days for lunch, where food can be bought or a packed lunch be eaten.

 

Cost £10. per day (£8 for SLS members).
