The Society for Landscape Studies

The Society for Landscape Studies was founded in 1979 with the aim of advancing public education by promoting the study of the landscape in all its aspects. In achievement of this aim the Society fosters interest in research and fieldwork; publishes, from time to time, the findings of the Society and other material relevant to the understanding of landscape evolution, particularly through its respected journal Landscape History; and holds conferences, seminars and field meetings.

How to Join The Society for Landscape Studies

Your application for membership, including a sterling cheque or money order for the appropriate rate, should be mailed to the Membership Secretary, Mrs Kathryn Brown, 38 Mill Road, Bozeat, Northamptonshire, NN29 7JA.

Members receive the journal Landscape History, the newsletters of the Society and get discounted rates for attendance at Society events.

Annual subscription rates are:
£
30 (sterling) for individuals and families at their private address;
£
40 (sterling) for UK institutions;
£
45 (sterling) for overseas institutions;
£
20 (sterling) for students and senior citizens.
